Jim Foster | Audio Boss
Jim has been an Audio Boss for over a decade. He broke into the recording business in 1996 when his band Gangsta Bitch Barbie started gaining local notoriety (they were eventually signed by Grand Royal Records) but people had been telling him he should make records when he got “big” since he was four years old.
Good thing he listened.
Jim credits legendary record producer Howard Benson for his career. Benson gave Jim his Pro Tool rig to work while Jim worked on the critically acclaimed P.O.D. Satellite album. Satellite debuted at number 6 on the Billboard charts, has sold more than 3 million copies in the US, received 6 MTV music awards and was nominated for 3 Grammy Awards.
Jim’s personal strength – aside from his ability to “hear” the big picture – is that he understands the level of respect and dedication his clients deserve. He puts 100% of his effort into making them happy and walking away with the absolute best product they can get, regardless of their budget.
